Estate Administration

Advising you on how to best take care
of your estate

Helping
youyour family

have confidence over estate administration

Matching you with financially minded solicitors

We want to make sure that you and your family get the most out of any inherited estate and can work with you to advise on the best steps. Together with your solicitor we can analyse assets, alongside beneficiaries’ circumstances, to come up with an approach that aims to provide the best financial outcome for everyone.

While some solicitors don’t take factors like tax-efficiency into account when collecting and distributing assets we can help guide our clients towards services that operate from a financially minded point of view. Let one of our advisers pair you with a tried-and-tested solicitor and start down the path to complete financial control over the administration of your estate.

How we work

What is estate administration?

Estate administration is process of managing and distributing the assets of a deceased person in accordance with their wishes and/or applicable laws. It involves handling various legal, financial, and administrative tasks, such as locating and valuing assets, paying debts and taxes, obtaining probate (if required), and distributing the estate to beneficiaries.

Estate Administration ensures that the deceased person's affairs are properly settled and that their assets are transferred to the intended recipients. When it comes to distributing estate, it is easy for large portions of finances to be lost through Inheritance Tax. Because this is so avoidable, it’s our aim at Lester Brunt to match you with the best possible solicitor service in order to alleviate unnecessary financial losses.

Estate Administration is a service which is separate and distinct to those offered by St. James's Place
