Lester Brunt Annual Golf Day 2022

Earlier this week we celebrated our annual charity golf day in aid of The Bowra Foundation. The weather held out for us and 19 teams of golfers were able to enjoy a sunny day on the course at Ferndown Golf Club.
We are thrilled to have exceeded last year’s fundraising target and raised over £30,000– a new record- in support of The BOWRA Foundation, a charity we have worked closely with for three years. All money raised will make a valuable difference to inspire resilience amongst people suffering from neurological disorders through practical help and physical challenges alongside members of the Armed Forces community.
Beginning with a shotgun start, 76 golfers took to the course, with the Pawseidon team becoming victorious and winning the event with 95 points.
92 dinner guests attended the prize ceremony, which was celebrated over a two-course meal in the clubhouse, alongside a regular and silent auction, with prizes generously donated from local businesses.
The event couldn’t have happened without the support of our co-sponsor AVASk and the help of our sponsors, whom all played their part in ensuring the day ran smoothly. A big thank you to over 20 companies who sponsored a hole, made a donation or contributed to the raffle – we couldn’t have done it without you!
