Lester Brunt Charity Golf Day 2023

On Tuesday 4th July we once again celebrated our annual charity golf day for The Bowra Foundation. 22 teams of golfers were able to enjoy a day on the course at Ferndown Golf Club.
We have supported and worked closely with The BOWRA Foundation, for four years, and were thrilled to have raised over £26,500! This funding will make a valuable difference to people experiencing neurological disorders by gaining access to practical help and opportunities.
Beginning with a shotgun start, the golfers made their way around the course until bad weather ceased play.
After the golf, 100 golfers attended the prize ceremony, which was celebrated over a two-course meal in the clubhouse, alongside an auction, with prizes generously donated from local businesses.
The event was a team effort and couldn’t have happened without the support of AVASK and local sponsors who ensured the day was a success. A big thank you to the companies who sponsored a hole, made a donation or contributed to the raffle – we couldn’t have done it without you!
