David Rampling
I am really proud to have almost 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. I joined Lester Brunt Wealth Management in 2019, after working for major UK banks and insurance companies, running a large accountancy Trust and Tax department and as the Sole Partner at Rampling Wealth Management. I enjoy talking to people and sorting out problems, so I regularly meet with my clients and their families to ensure that plans and arrangements are running smoothly. I’m currently based between Reading and Basingstoke but I have clients all over the UK.
I love that no two days are the same and the best part of the job is the client. It’s rare to find a financial job with so much client interaction, where you can build rapport over time and create relationships built on trust. By spending time with each client I get to understand what they find important and the aspects of their lives that truly matter to them. Everyone has different ideas for how they want their futures to pan out and getting to make these dreams a reality is simply a perk of the job.
I am a holistic adviser with a thorough understanding of all aspects of Financial Planning but I do specialise in investment planning, as this is what first got me interested in finance all those years ago. I am also qualified to provide advice on savings and retirement and am a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Outside of work I am an avid football and rugby fan and have several hobbies, including tracing my family tree all the way back to the early 1600s! I also have a small collection of cars and attend Supercar Club shows across the country when time and British weather permits.
