I initially trained with the Lester Brunt Technical Department in early 2018, before becoming a fully qualified Financial Adviser in March 2020 and receiving additional qualifications in Mortgages, Long Term Care and Equity Release. In March 2023 I achieved my 'big plan' of being a Chartered Financial adviser, a goal I set myself 3 years ago. I am a holistic adviser, offering support across all areas of financial planning, but specifically enjoy helping clients with Inheritance Tax and pension and retirement planning. I am based in Guildford and Surrey but am regularly in the Southwest for work and to visit family.
I love my job, as I am a naturally dedicated person who takes pride in going the extra mile to deliver the best solutions to my clients. I enjoy working as an adviser because I can make a difference to clients; providing clarity and helping them to find and take control of their futures. The best part of the day is the client interaction, meeting up with people, talking, connecting and finding the best way to solve problems to make everyone’s lives easier. The ultimate goal is to form strong relationships, built on respect and trust, and ensure everyone is better equipped to handle their changing circumstances.

When I’m not at work, I have a Masters Degree in Archaeology and attend a local excavation every year. I also play football once a week and love a good book, particularly non-fiction biographies, most recently finishing a memoir by Nike co-founder, Phil Knight. I also enjoy travelling and sightseeing, my last break was in Greece and before that I went white water rafting in Montenegro and Croatia.
Holding Chartered status means I adhere to an ethical code that underpins broader commitments to professional values. These include putting your interests first, investing in ongoing development of my technical skills and knowledge, and supporting wider initiatives that benefit society as well as the growth of my profession.
