I have over 20 years of experience helping families to plan for their financial futures and achieve their goals. I am enthusiastic about developing trust with my clients and aim to create long-lasting and trusted relationships by providing bespoke financial recommendations, intending to bridge the 'advice gap' by making financial advice accessible to everyone. I make my client meetings friendly, jargon-free and relaxed, so clients can learn to better understand their finances at their own pace.
For me, the best part of the job is enabling clients to achieve the goals they wouldn’t be able to reach without the correct guidance; working with a client to reach their goals and desires is the most gratifying part.
When you work together and actually achieve something for the greater good it is hugely empowering for the client. I am a holistic adviser, so I cover all areas of financial planning, but I particularly enjoy creating plans for a sound retirement, maximising pensions and setting up secure foundations for financial longevity.
The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.
Originally I studied Sports Science at Southampton University and coached triathlon training (having previously completed four Ironman Triathlons with a personal best of under 10 hours 30 minutes) so in my spare time, I try to keep this going and am still very sporty; I can be found playing golf, cricket or off somewhere on my bike. These days I enjoy spending time with my family; my wife Rochelle and children Alfie, Lily and Valentin, and our chocolate labrador, Dexter. I also enjoy travelling; anywhere with snow is great, but the best holiday I’ve been on was my honeymoon in Bali. I’ve also been skiing across the California-Nevada state line which was amazing too! I love exploring the world with my family. Next on the bucket list is Sydney and Melbourne, to see the sights of Australia but primarily because of the Ashes Test!
