LBWM Superstar Ben Completes National Three Peaks Challenge for Dementia UK
On 21st August, LBWM superstar Ben, alongside his friends Benjy and Archie, took on the National Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Dementia UK.
The challenge sees participants climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. Over the course of the challenge, the team completed:
- Total walking distance: 26 miles (42 km)
- Total ascent: 3,064 metres (10,052 ft)
- Distance travelled between the peaks: 462 miles
With the invaluable support of Carey, who drove approximately 1,600 miles over the weekend, including the journey to Scotland and the return home from Snowdon, the team successfully completed the challenge in an incredible 22 hours and 34 minutes.
Most importantly, Ben, Benjy and Archie raised an amazing £1,635 for Dementia UK.
